At the beginning of 2022 Northland FC signed an MoU with the Wellington Phoenix Academy, allowing us to operate a Pre-Academy (PAC) for players 8-13 in the Northland region. We are proud to be one of twelve PAC partners for the Wellington Phoenix across the motu.

The PAC philosophy and player development aims align with those in our NZF accredited junior and youth programs (McDonald's Northland Skills Centre & Talent Development Program) with sessions and experiences at holiday camps intended to complement a player's community football development, but our affiliation with the only professional football club in Aotearoa New Zealand also provides a clear, aspirational pathway for players in the skill acquisition phase all the way through to the A-League.
